About the Artists

"Pet Paw-Traits" has two artists,Debbie and Dawn.
Debbie went to Art College, where she gained a Diploma in Fine Art/Art & Design.
Dawn is a self taught artist.
They met through their interest in dogs,Debbie, having three German Shepherd's, and Dawn owning two German Shepherd's, King Charles Cavalier and a cross-breed, all of which they exhibit at shows.
These interests combined, led them to produce their first dog paintings, with art exhibitions to follow, which created quite an interest from people and commissions for portraits of their pets. They then realised, it would be a good idea to start up a Pet Portrait business!

We use gouache/acrylic watercolour paints on our portraits.
We work from your own chosen photograph(s) of your pet. We can include more than one pet on the portrait,at an additional cost. It does not matter if pets are on separate photos, we can combine the two (or more!)onto the same picture.

We paint the portrait onto coloured card of your choice, and price includes card mount(colour of your choice) Portrait can be a head study or full body. Pet's name can be placed onto card mount if desired!

We have many paintings of different breeds of dog, which we have re-produced onto various products such as greetings cards, notelets, bookmarks, key/Lead holders, gift tags,calendars and many more.
